There is no variation in the stitch. The jacket is made with an overlock stitching that expands/ contract based on the movement and stress areas when worn.

the leather comes like that from the tannery and is bonded to a cotton/ linen fabric before the jacket is made.

EDIT:

must also elaborate that the tannery has these leathers (Sheep hide and goat hide) and they develop these holes during the tanning process. They are areas of the hide that could not withstand the effects of the tanning.
What the tannery does is select the bigger/ better ones and cut away the imperfections to sell the good portions as smaller hides.

I like them like this ( beautiful imperfections are a feature of my work) so I bought them with the holes.

I liked the white so I requested they dye them black.....

Chest: I'm too fat
Waist: I'm too fat
Shoulder: I'm afraid to do deadlifts
Arm: Not bad

If you deadlifted more you would know that it doesn’t affect shoulders a whole lot in comparison to a shoulder-to-overhead lift. It’s an exercise focused on your legs and core.

I’m also shaped like a can of Folgers coffee, although I have reasonably wide shoulders. Try the damn thing. Worst case send it back or resell it. 60’s trucker jackets are usually fairly forgiving, and they don’t really get buttoned up the whole way often.

That's how long I've been away from a gym.

Levi's suede Type 3 off The Bay.

Snug measurements all around and I probably couldn't button if I stop working out again, but I dig it. Not vintage, based on the label, but I don't think I'd fit any vintage models. May be a second, as the right pocket was stitched up into the shoulder instead of over the breast.

Tried removing the stains with some Omnidaim and a shower spritz. May try Omni Nettoyant at some point, but they don't really bother me.

i like the fit,

i might think a bit about removing the liner just to make it a little more real,

i dig the extra seams too (makes me wonder what the hide is ) but a good riff on the type iii
