I think the moon crater effect thing is pretty cool. And I get the whole hand-stitched artisan thing. Was just curious about the strength of it.

Get one and wear it while lying on a bed. See if the seams rip apart at the back near the armhole.

I think it is for one's benefit to go through the entire thread and see what this is all about which is not just about mediocre FCL jackets (yes, it is OK not to like stuff.)

I just ordered the off-white version of that Zam jacket. Everyone I showed the product images to (a few stylish but not in an avant-garde way women) thought the holes looked cool (as do I, obviously).

If a genie offered me a wish it would be a tossup between stopping that whole Covid thing and never hearing about U-man's Fine Creek jacket again.
well you spent your first two wishes, what would be your third and final wish

I like that the ZB jacket is unique, I appreciate the craftsmen ship but I wouldn’t wear something like that, just not my thing.

FCL was a one time issue, **** happens folks, we had a decent discussion, it didn’t bother me much.

I posed this in private chat so may as ask it here:

I’m presently eyeing a Levis suede trucker that has got my shoulder, back length and arm measurements but is about 1-1.5” smaller in chest than what I normally seek in a jacket and is probably at my present waist measurement. Any thoughts on whether or not I should take it?

My RMC A2 has the same chest and a smaller shoulder, but it also has some accommodation in the midsection and back. My guess is any trucker is going to be comparatively more taut across these areas.

Not sure I follow. The Levi’s jacket has a chest measurement that is too small, but that same measurement works for you on the A2?

Indeed. Measurements at the standard specific points (pit-to-pit, shoulder-seam-to-shoulder-seam, etc.) don't really tell the whole picture.
