I think it was more over on TFL. Some opinions about the manufacturing being in a shared factory not controlled by the brand and therefore less special than Rainbow Country or RMC. Nit picky things like that.

If there’s a joke here it’s going over my head. Gen is moderately tall, at least I think. Or maybe it’s the engineer boots… either way I definitely don’t think of him as short.

no joke, i remember looking at the measurements and finding SB short in the body.

the IH you bought in size 38 is 25.8 vertical length, SB (this one) is 24, the rider is 24.75, short jackets are great for riding but not fashion my 2c.

Also that model always wears high waisted pants (pants with a high rise) which in pics make the jackets look longer.

I actually think short jackets are good depending on the context. Vintage inspired looks will always look better with jackets cut slightly shorter. Especially with high rise pants

I think the back is cool. It’s more of sports jacket style than a moto jacket. Will check it out if SE stocks it.

The Raymond looks good generally, but I don’t care for the zippered hand warmer pockets. If I were to go for this 30s style, I would probably get The Real McCoys’ version, which should be more readily available anyway.

So what? You know what @dieworkwear says about zippered pockets.... always leave them unzipped and open, they look better that way.
