Not to throw a wrench into anyone's plans but there's a Self Edge x Fine Creek x Good Art jacket coming for this holiday season and it's based off the Richard.

That’s great news! Looks like I’ll be holding out for that one then. This is separate from the presale, correct? It’ll be available for immediate purchase for the holiday season? Thanks Kiya.

2mm Horsehide, almost (but not the same exact) leather being used on the 2mm Leon.
These should be out by December and we'll have more details closer to the release.

But that gap at the bottom of the jacket has to go!!!

That is a trait of cafe racers. You need it to lean over the tank.

My bigger issue with FCL is the chest and arms are too tight. You can even see it pulling in the model picture. It is like the arms are rotated too forward. The Leon has the gussets and a slightly wider arm which helps.

yea I get that functionality idea but FCL makes more fashion street wear jackets, you can certainly ride in a 2mm jack but I would not trust that in a fall. I'd want my jacket to have padding and the plate inserts to cushion a fall just in case.

Oh no, I'm not looking to order one. Just wondering if anyone had as I would like to see pictures of how they age. I'm leather jacketed out for now as I'm pretty happy with what I have and still waiting on my last order to come in.

FWIW Eva is kinda spotty with communication (read: hare-brained artist type) but if you reach out to her I'm sure she'd have lots of photos of the aging process of the unfinished horse she'd be happy to share. I almost went for it because I had a bunch of store credit with Epaulet but I ended up going for a natural CXL instead because I wanted something to handle water better.

I think it depends on what you want. The FCL is a really good version of a fairly common cafe racer design. The Butterscotch Addict is the best version of the "cafecto" hybrid, so it's more unique to me and bolder, especially w/ the D pocket.

Well, when you put it that way...

I think we all have double riders and cafe racers so for something different, this is definitely the ticket. It is starting to grow on me and will probably fit better than many FCL due to their slim chests.
