stuck between two jackets -- TFH Delraiser and Buco J-24.

Well, technically 3 -- I haven't been able to find a FCL Leon the Nostar to try on, but I am stuck between those 3.

Any and all opinions welcome please!

If it makes any difference...
Fine Creek Leon: no plans for them make any more of these jackets anytime in the near future, it's not even on their line sheets for 2021
Flat Head: Price of these just went up to $2950 (I'm not kidding), so IF they plan on making more, which they currently have no plans to remake it, that would be the new price.

Can't go wrong with either one. May just be the light but from the photos you've posted the buco looks better.

From the photo alone, I prefer The Real McCoys. I think the shoulder hits you better. Again, based on the photo only.

thanks for the input guys. Considering all these when making a decision.

based on what you guys see with the delraiser, what comments do you have on the fit?

I know it's a pretty normal "look" or whatever but I really dislike the short jacket with long t-shirt thing

Just going by the pictures the delraiser looks a bit more full on you in chest and shoulders. It really might just be the light and the fact that someone else's is taking the picture when you're wearing the buco. It also might be helpful to see pics with it zipped up. All else equal, Ive got a delraiser and prefer it's look (aside from obvious similarities) to the buco

The Delraiser has an extended shoulder. I wonder how the shoulder looks when the jacket breaks in. I tried on the Delraiser a few months ago and was undecided regarding the shoulder (Not sure the guys at SE were convinced either).

thats my main concern with the delraiser -/ the wider shoulder. A 44 has 20.5” shoulder width. I have broad shoulders already so I’m not used to even wearing things that accommodate that.

I would think my sweet spot is 18.5-19”, which the Buco has an 18.75” width.

Yeah i think if the jacket is 25” or under it may require a change in shirt length — even requiring a tucked shirt — but I think it’s more accepted now given that’s just the look and heritage of the jacket

Exactly the same for me. The 20.5” shoulder was fairly wide. Other SE jackets like the FCL Leon and Eric in the same size 44 have narrower shoulders which seemed to provide a better fit.

I am sure both would work for you. But if you have to choose, perhaps go with The Real McCoys.

Cant you just eenie meenie miney mo the left or right coin pockets?

How is it breaking in since?

mild creasing as expected, nothing out of the ordinary. i am happy w/it. I basically wore it non stop for a year until the FCL leon came in then wore that non stop for a while and recently pulled the IH out again it was like a new jacket.
