Sounds like maybe you just haven't seen Grizzly jackets before? They're not common, but they're also a pretty classic workwear design.

I think this would look much better with the fur on the inside. I wonder why someone originally designed to put it on the outside. Seems like it would make it especially hard to clean.

Interior shearling is best shearling.

If I were gonna go fur-out, I'd go full yeti:

At least the polyester fleece exterior everything trend seems to have faded lately.

To be fair, that is the way that the OA (Original Animals) wear it.

I don't like this soft, fuzzy look though. Looks too much like a big teddy bear. I would not get one of these BUT if I did, I much prefer the Himel Wolverine version. Much more bad ass.

I actually think the hair panels look cool, but "badass" is not how I would describe it. "Macaroni", maybe.

It depends on the setting. To me it looks very western and something that an old trapper/gold miner would wear coming in from the Montana winter.

The shearling looks like something you would wear to a furry party.

Don't kink shame me.

Who said anything about shame. Just not necessarily the look that all of us go for. No shame necessary.

ponyhair or hair-on-hide.

pile-in makes sense with shearling until you figure it's impossible to keep the rough out tidy.

i have 2 cowhide rugs, one in my 5-year-old's room. they are easy to clean and look great! so i think that would be the reason to run the pile to the outside.
