Not really.

Depends on your perspective. I graduated high school in 1963. Prior to 1964 it was illegal for black and white children to attend the same school in Louisiana.

I was part of the group that opposed the half-asses renaming. But in a school system that did not really desegregate until the 1980s and 1990s, and in a Parish that recently created a new city to once again do just that (google St. George), you are facing an uphill battle.

@Newcomer, why did you sell the 9L ? It is my grail jacket... still holding out I can find a small lightly preowned or on sale after missing the S&S sale.

Honestly, wasn’t 100% happy with the fit. And I don’t think it is worth it to keep a $2100 jacket that isnt great!

Fair enough, the fit needs to be there. Personally, everything I have ever bought from 9L has fit my body spot-on. Hence my lust for the yak!

Oh then any comparisons on Vicenza vs. CXL HH or other HH?

I had an Aero BR in CXL and replaced it with a Vicenza. I like the *look* of CXL HH better than Vicenza, but it's just not as comfortable for me.

I also have a J100 in Shinki HH, it is by far my favorite of the three. It shows wear, grain and creases a lot like CXL but it's not as heavy and thick. With regard to weight & thickness, it's closer to Vicenza.

Wait FCL is shinki? I thought it was some other tannery. Heck I don't know if this is actually the case but the guys from Ratpack in Japan have on their rakuten that the Edward uses some leather from a polish tannery.

Shinki use horsehide from Poland for tanning. Also Shinki is based in Himeji, although there are other tanneries there too. I don't know if FCL uses Shinki or one of the other tanneries there (maybe Kiya or someone knows).
