I think that the Leon, by a hair. Both look good. The one you choose will look better once you get a week of wear in, get some creasing, let the leather relax to your body, etc...

I tried both recently and preferred the Eric or James for myself.

Trying to decide between the FCL Eric or James vs the Valstar Clint in black.

Yea, both styles look good on you. I prefer the Leon, but the cafe racer also looks great. Don't think you can really go wrong with either.

Anyone know how many SE items are only sold in store? Didn’t see the Eric online. Can you buy over email? I sent an inquiry about the Raymond to SE before looking anywhere else, but If I knew they had an Eric I probably would have just tried to buy that.

Thanks guys - ended up with the Leon, which I will wear with a popped collar whenever I’m around @LA Guy

@kiya what’s the dying process? When I got back home after handling the jacket I washed my hands and noticed some color transfer...or that could have been just dirt from the jobsite. At any rate, it seems they fade fast, which is kind of cool.

The Eric is deceptively nice. Simple but really well executed. I think you’d wear it well.

Well I did walk away with another pair of jeans and that corduroy Stevenson shirt, which is probably the best western shirt ever made.
