    Why would you size up? It's already too big for you

    @dolatron

    Thanks for the heads up. I think I saw yours (if you posted it in B/S) but I'm looking for a black DR.

    Re: the fit comments that popped up, I tend to agree that the jacket in the pic definitely seems like it's the right size.I definitely understand not wanting to look like you're trying too hard and thus going for a more relaxed fit but even looking at it attentively I can't seem to pinpoint any areas that you might find uncomfortably slim.

    Not to speak out of turn but is there something that was a particular problem area? For example: Was the chest too tight? Do slimmer/non loose garments accentuate a larger lower body portion or something? Did the waist fit so tight that it is uncomfortable?

    If there's something specific that bothers you (it's totally a personal choice after all) you might be able to commission a MTM order w/ J. Grose so you can fix the problem area specifically and keep everything else that fits well the same.Otherwise you might end up with a garment that's looser all around and thus accommodates the problem area but makes you look somewhat 'frumpy'. If I recall correctly, when NMWA (No Man Walks Alone) first debuted them in their store they ran some sort of trunkshow/MTM event so they might be a source of guidance or maybe even be able to arrange the process for you entirely.

    Thanks @jcep - I appreciate the feedback and thoughts & agree that it looks pretty well fitting. The issues that I have are in the shoulders/upper back mostly. It's hard to see from the pics but I have an athletic build and the upper arms are tight at the shoulders which significantly limits mobility & is uncomfortable.

    As nice as it is, it might just be that the cut of this particular jacket isn't right for me.

    sounds about right from your description.

    had to learn the same lesson with MMM 5-zips. went to their store in LA and i just don't have a slim enough build for it. i wear 40 in belstaff leathers, couldn't even zip up a 5-zip in 52. very disappointing.

    Thanks for the share @dieworkwear. I'm trying to not be the guy that bought a a blue suede, olive lamb, and grey suede DR before getting a black one but you're not making it easy haha. This is ridiculously cool.

    It's a long flannel shirt, kinda goofy, but I was actually wearing something else and went to pick up the jacket today, just threw it on over

    Leather looks great. Hardware is blingy but I like it
    Are you generally supposed to wear the collar snaps undone?

    Up to a size 42 (48 cm shoulders, 57cm chest), so depending on how jacked you are :)

    http://addict-clothes.com/online/addict-clothes-new-vintage/leather-jacket/ad-02-long/1760/

    The leather is amazing, the fit is perfect, the details are awesome, and the designer is a cool dude. I'll post up a full review tomorrow with some pics in natural light

    Yeah, I guess either way?? I dunno, like I said I literally just threw it on because it's heavier and was easier to wear them put in a bag
