I dunno that I'd buy a leather that wasn't lined in some form of rayon. I wear a lot of knits

    Tartan printed rayon?

It's not that hard to get a jacket relined though.

@LA Guy would you want to make a thread for the mto so we can get specifics. I am kinda interested although idk what the price is. It's a bit hard to follow given the leather jacket talk and the mtm talk.

Any chance this new mto leather will come in another color than black? Or is that out of the question?

There is a fairly high minimum. Twelve jackets, I think. I think getting that buy in for another color other than black will be very difficult.

I see, I guess I was hoping, if possible, the design itself was mto but there could be different leather color choices?

It's a longshot but I figure it couldn't hurt to ask.

Anyone have a recommendation between a TOJ Quilt DR vs. BLK DNM #31? I currently have the BLK DNM #5, but I always wear it open and I don't like the belt. Thanks.

damn that junya is 1150 used, i think it was 3k new.... still nuts

this http://shop.nordstrom.com/s/blk-dnm...m_sp=personalizedsort-_-browseresults-_-1_1_A vs a TOJ ??? go with the TOJ too much quilting on the blk denim. Don't forget you are comparing a RTW to a MTM jacket that will fit you better due to it being tailored to your body.

Right now TOJ wait time is all over the place so why don't you check the Vanson group buy styleforum is having here http://www.styleforum.net/t/387175/...im-fit-japanese-double-rider-mto#post_7080295
It has everything you want but no quilts which i think you can live with.

Love my blk denim 31. The design is waaaaaay cooler. The ToJ quilted design does not cut it imho. Btw One year of beating the blk dnm it looks even better!

I happened to be in Shibuya, and bought the Junya. It's a touch small - tight to zip up the tummy area but it's really nice. Thick leather and great styling. And they were having a 15% sale today. Still pricey but it's probably in lieu of my second TOJ now.

You should also get some customs back at the airport.

lol goddamn I was going to say that BLK DNM jacket isn't that bad until I saw it from behind. Sheesh.

At the same time it's hard to recommend TOJ with the wait times.
