one friend bought a rick stooges from 2012 SS distressed leather. it is just bad, i highly suspect they use cheap leather because it's hard to tell since it's distressed. Plus i don't see any value on the quality wise.

I may go to check out Plokhov jacket this week if barney's carry.

Btw, i'm also thinking about this. Isaia Beaver Fur Olive lamb leather bomber. The lining is detachable. It was sold at park and bond 1-2 seasons before.

wow, I love everything about that leather jacket. It must cost a fortune. If you buy it and you change your mind and decide that you don't like it, can I have it? I'll give you bear hugs for life

That jacket retailer for $5k iirc. Love the color, have no need for the fur though

w/o the lining it's just a boring and fairly ugly bomber.

^Who does that one. What do you guys think of these jackets of S. Korean origin...I don't know how to take that since ToJ is from there and quality of leathers is fairly well-regarded here. I am wondering strictly about the quality not the design or anything.

I was thinking about picking up a shearling, but none of the big box stores or Mr P got as many as last season...did the price of shearling skyrocket since the last season?

I don't really like this jacket. To me, it looks like someone took the concept of ugg boots and made it into a jacket :(

in that case please let me have it so I can copy, manufacture out of infinitely inferior materials, then sell for a retail markup that makes $10 gin and tonics seem reasonable. if there's anything we've learned from uggs is that the masses lacking any sense of taste or style makes somebody one rich bastard!

but I have to ask... who makes it?

finally found a couple of RO jackets I can wear with my penguin shirts.

Rick Owens Moto jackets from F/W 2010. biggest plus is the weight - surprisingly substantial

the brad jacket is pretty bad, don't think it's the equivalent of an ugg just bc it has fur that didn't make any sense
