1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

Thanks Robinson! I've actually narrowed it down to either 2001 (though I doubt it's that old), SS2008 or AW2009 on account of it originally being beige cowhide. I'll have to take a closer look later. The link nicelynice posted said something about the snap collar on 2008.

You can identify the exact year and season of your MMM 5 zip (and any other MMM garment) by looking at the Staff International label.

Check the last three digits on the "comm" line. It will give you the year and the season (1 for spring/summer, 2 for fall winter).

What do you guys think about tan leather jackets? not this style but color.
I think they will age nicely.

I couldnt pull off the Schott I ordered, I dont know if was the style or black color, or maybe both. I have an innocent look to myself, not manly so I think a tan leather jacket might suit me well.

only works on darker skinned people. I am white as a ghost and tried a margiela 5zip in that color and it just wasn't working.

The color is very aggressive in certain lighting. The jacket looked good on me, but I thought it was a little too aggressive esp with how leathers fit (snug and slim). If you are okay with a brighter color camel like that go for it. Theres also a bunch of different shades of that camel in different styles, so ymmv

Yea, the color screams, its a color that you couldn't really replicate on anything other then a leather jacket.

Ended up going with my dream jacket, that I never thought I would get my hands on. Will post pictures once it comes in.

I want it, but the pricetag is a bit much honestly. I don't think it will make it to sale.

Might be worth it if the lining was removable.
