I looked at the some the other day in BiG and the leather seemed really thin and stiff. Didn't feel great at all. Its probably supposed to be like that, but I didn't like it.

my spring summer blistered lamb leather from SS11 is thicker than the FW11 lamb leathers lol

The SS12 white blistered lamb leather I think is great currently! All the others might be shaping up decently too.

Cool! Strange that the SA at Mr. Porter didn't know. I was wondering why everyone else bought the vegetable lamb leather and Mr. Porter had "oiled calf."

The intarsia in lamb is great imo! It's been my go to leather last couple weeks.

I tried on the Julius SS12 leather recently, the leather is a great weight for spring. I dunno how I feel about the wire collar, I feel it cheapens the jacket and makes it harder to zip up normally. I could see myself breaking it after a while, and it doesn't really add to the jacket. I feel it detracts from the design more so.

Where did you try it? Always felt the wire collar to be extraneous...

I´ve had cooler tees with more holes that cost 100 times less.
