^ he wants ultimate swag
I love Drew, but his current DR patterns don't taper at the waist. They taper all the way through to the hips, and the pattern can't be adjusted otherwise last I checked.
Not a fault, just something you have to take into account depending on your body type.
chaos, every time I see an image of that thing, I die a little bit inside
Edit: Unc, I bet you could pull of that Uism
You guys like any of these?
i don't understand this post, what do you mean it doesn't taper at the waist and tapers through to the hips?
you can adjust the widths on the midsection/waist as you see fit...
It has been tried...
Yeah, that. The hem has to be the narrowest part of the jacket, which isn't true of his original DR (or a lot of others on market). This can be problematic depending on body type or how low you want it to sit. I assume that's what he was asking about when he specifically mentioned a waist taper, since it's a concern a lot of people have when buying jackets cut slim.
Like I said, not a criticism, just something you have to take into account. I got another DR from him in calf with different measurements and it's far and away better. There should be a pic in the same gallery somewhere.
Tried on the DSq and wasn't impressed.
Don't like built in hoods.
Cut/shape of the last one just doesn't seem right to me.
IMHO. . .
Any you recommend?
RO & TOJ seem to be the only options available to those who care what LJ thread followers think. . .
I love it, actually.
For waist taper, Julius seems like an obvious suggestion.
^ i can't see reedo in a julius...
hey thats actually not bad
Hahaha I'd look like such a goon. I could barely wear RO, that'd be a stretch
I don't really understand why people think RO is more safe than Julius. There are a couple extreme pieces but Julius is at its best when Tatsuro is being minimalist, and minimalist Julius is far less loud than RO at either its best or its worst. Hell, minimalist Julius is less loud than DRs.
This is probably my favorite piece from last season and is a good example.
