first of all, does that color suit you?

you have to take into account certain factors, like hair color, complexion, and so on

i actually wanted something similar, until i tried on a jacket in a similar color, and let me tell you, the result was not good

Yeah it's a good point. Sometimes colors look good in pics or on a rack, but you try 'em on and they don't work at all.

I have a tan suede jacket from Spurr that I think works decently, and it's kind of in the same ballpark, but not as rich/deep a brown. Here's a pic:

If my shoulders are 40cm (body measurements) and my all my shirts are ~40cm (shoulder to shoulder) too, how big should the shoulder of a leather be?
My leather guy said he usually adds 1,5" to body measurements... that sounds A LOT to me.. that would be 44cm then.. and i usually wear XS or S, I have very slim frame (5'8", 128lbs, 85cm chest)

i would try to find something with 40cm shoulders and longer sleeves. you're just about the same size as me, i have a leather that has 17" shoulders and the seams fall off the end of my shoulders. i would much rather have smaller fitting shoulders than bigger.

He might not add 1.5" to the shoulders, or at least he shouldn't, that would be stupid. You shouldn't really add anything to the shoulder measurement.

How heavy is this thing? Has anyone seen it in person? I've looking for something that could stop a tank, or a pitbull biting through the arm. Incarnation is typcially much heavier/tougher than other designer leathers, but I haven't seen/felt, this particular model. Of course, I may just get the Jeanshop jacket and get them to custom overdye in for me.

We'll see.

It looks pretty heavy, but doesn't really look to have a lining. It doesn't much thicker than the jacket I sold you though, Fok, like 1.5mm. You can tell by the width of the (fake) creasing in the arm and the drape from the shoulders.

edit: on second thought, it might be fairly thin actually - that seam down the fronts and the shoulders are laid out flat, which makes me think those parts are pretty thin comparatively.

Yeah. I want something that is at least .9 mm. We'll see. Incarnation leathers do look good though.
