I have one somewhere that makes me look like an absolute dicktard, I will see if I can find it.
it is what they call glove leather, pretty thin.
I think in the case of that intarsia, the thin leather gives it it's appeal, makes it drape much better. Same leather as the ones on the scuba I poster earlier.
Is that always so bad? I prefer lamb because it is softer and thinner than calf. If it is garbage quality thin leather then no, that isn't good. But I have some leathers that are heavy and some that are light and don't distinguish between them quality-wise based on that characteristic.
no, it's fine, kinda depends how many you have.
i crrently have hammered lamb intarsia
oiled calf stooges and intarsia
washed calf high collar
blistered mid collar
high collar blistered over neoprene
plenty and the best models IMO
Also Kunk, since you've probably handled it as well, what non-distressed leather are they using for the stooges this season? Probably not oiled calf since you only said the only RO worth it right now is the scuba leather.
I know they have distressed black and grey version, which is probably lamb.
Then they also have the stonewashed.
i think it is a washed calf but i only looked at it briefly
My buddy's special order just came in at Lazzari. Scarstitch in Grey Horse
Looks like a nice piece, but how comfortable are those to wear? They look very thick and rigid. I wouldnt want something like that.
The scarstitch is by far the easiest & most comfortable CCP leather to wear. It's pretty stiff when new but breaks in nicely.
that scarstitch in grey is sexy
^very nice leather up above
Here's the brown Julius FW06 moto that winq gave me this week. Rare color, you guys might've seen me wearing the black one a few years ago, same jacket.
I'll write a little more about it in a second.
Just watched Captain America and saw the jacket he wore in the movie.
