It's not as bombastic and "rockstar" as many of the jackets posted here, more understated. So I'm concerned it may border blandness.

The pocket placement is indeed fairy high as you can see both in comparison to where my eyes are and on product photos, but I actually think its flattering, as it emphasizes the shoulders. I like the color, too.

Mine is a 40 when my usual RMC size is 42, and I think it fits me well but I seldom snap it up. It's full in the shoulders and doesn't taper too strongly. I think the slimness is a factor of the style. I would definitely fit in a 42 as well, but I don't think it would be better.

This is how it fits me. 5'10'', pushing 190, more of a dadbod than an athletic body type.

It has a European minimalist feel, definitely not biker or heroin chic. Doesn't make it bad. We've circled jerked hard on heritage jackets for the past year, and the year before that was all about Fine Creek, but all in all I think this is a place for all good leather jackets not just variations of the ones that we've posted in the past 5 weeks.

I like the way the jacket fits you.

Measurements can sometimes be deceptive, but from them, I would have guessed to go up a size. Maybe S&S will carry the jacket so I can try on.

I like the tan one a lot. I wonder if I'd like it more without the contrasting collar. Y'2 makes a similar one without the contrast collar

I sorta think that the contrasting collar makes this one. One without would also be cool, but probably has a bit less of a western feel.

Worth noting that the collar is there for practical purposes more than aesthetic ones. (A suede collar will quickly pick up a lot of unpleasant sweat stains.)

I get that and have a few suede jackets. Although I'm usually not sweating in outerwear, I think it's more so the oils tbh similar to how dress shirt necks stain

Yeah, I meant to say skin oils rather than sweat. But yeah, those unpleasant oil stains. And you can't launder them out of the leather like you can a shirt collar.
