    Very nice.

That looks like shit. I think its more that I hate the jacket in and of itself, rather than the fit.

Shoulders are too narrow. Sleeves are too slim. Dumb ass fur collar. Tron-esque front "pouch" (I don't know what the fuck that is, really.) Too short.

Look, I don't get the whole RO thing, and I certainly could never fit in one of them, so I'm prob not the guy who's opinion you want to rely on solely. I prefer a classic jacket like the one Stillmatic got. Now that thing is fucking sweet.

I totally agree with you, but I know we are in the minority in this thread. That someone would even consider this hoody looking RO jacket while critiquing the Schott just blows my mind.

I like it but in terms of cut, drape, and texture (I'm guessing that's suede but it could pass for terry though obv not in person) it really looks like nothing so much as a hoodie....

maybe it's just me, but i feel like leathers that look like that schott are gross. i don't like the aesthetic. on the other hand, the RO is nice and I'd rock the shit out of it.

I can see how it might remind someone of a hoodie. I can also see why someone might want that one or the schott one. What's the big deal?

Not all hoodies has a collar like that though. Typical hoodies actually look like this. The one with the collar isn't the norm and I relate the collar more with track jackets.

lol ... this is such a tangent. You are right, that is a more typical hoodie style; I did specifically look for one with a similar scuba(?) front to help make my point, but only because I thought some other people were being silly.

Leather jackets tend to look a certain way. The RO jacket is a light colour more frequently seen on sweats and the like, it's got really slim kind of bunched sleeves (just like a hoodie) with knit cuffs (like a hoodie), it's got semi-kangaroo pockets, and it's textured suede, which looks kind of terry-ish. All of those things make it resemble a hoodie. Squint your eyes and from the pics you would think it's a hoodie-type garment more readily than a leather jacket. Maybe that's not the case in real life, but I haven' seen it in a store -- I just think it's dumb people are arguing with the guy who said it looks like a hoodie, since in the pic it does.

When I chimed in, I wasn't thinking specifically of the top part really (since there is no hood), just the overall garment. Maybe I should have said "track jacket," but I wasn't even the one who brought it up, I just agreed with the guy who said hoodie because I think the comment was accurate.

    I'd wear it though.

Back on topic: some hardware I like ...
