IME, ive dated short, close to my height, taller, it doesn't matter, what matters is attraction and if there isn't any then it doesn't matter if you are 6'3 200lbs with low BMI and perfect shape. Confidence and being a gentleman goes a lot longer.

At 5’8” there’s no point in me lying about being 6’ but if I were 5’11” I’d probably round up.

I'm about 5'10" - 5'11" (or 6' on dating profiles) and tried on a XL in Whitesville - VERY short, as I recall. Like, too short

I'm 6'1" relatively long torso, and they worked on me. My black ones are slightly smaller in all directions than my white ones (I think they're a Japanese market L whereas the white ones are an American market L) but even those aren't too short.

That said, things like this are all about preference. Check out History Preservation's site. I believe he has some bigger sizes than they sell in Japan, all of which have detailed measurements, so the larger sizes might suit your tastes.
