James Grose Shearling DR being delivered on Monday.
This jacket is cool but I predict you’ll be disappointed by the collar not standing at attention like it does in modeling shots, in addition to the possibility of it not fitting.

Nostradamus over here predicts I'll be disappointed ... if it doesn't fit. Whoa. What else would I be if it doesn't fit? Happy?

Weird. Just saw this on Yahoo Japan Auctions. Didn't know selling your ripped off epaulets was a thing...

No, I predicted that you would be disappointed by the flacidity of the collar. I noted that this was in addition to the possibility of the jacket not fitting.

Breaking News: Man has same opinion of possiblity of jacket not fitting as expressed in the past 10 pages of this thread.

I like flaccid collars. I'm not trying to be a vampire.

You’re either being purposely obtuse or you’re fixating as a diversionary tactic because I know you’re smart enough to understand my original message.

The only reason I mentioned sizing was to relate my point to the context of the other recent comments. My main point was about the collar stand. This is obvious to anyone who read the post. My comment wasn’t mysterious.

I don’t know why you’re so offended, this is the most mild take I’ve seen recently on your jacket adventures. It has less to do with you and more to do with the jacket. A lot of people saw the famous shot of Greg wearing this jacket and bought it only to be disappointed that the collar took a lot of work to stay that erect. Since you’re a particularly exacting consumer, I figured this would especially be the case for you.

1. I have no idea who Greg is.
2. I fell for the jacket based on pictures I've seen of it laying flat or on a mannequin.
3. I've just now searched for pictures of the jacket being worn. Seems fine to me.
4. It's nice to know everyone is looking out for me and a.) can't wait to say 'I told you so' and b.) want to add their two cents that's usually of the negative persuasion.

He's just telling you the collar is a bit wack. I think your brain has become so fried from this thread you're constantly assuming people are out to get you instead of trying to be helpful.

I assume you're talking about the Grose shearling bomber? I didn't realize that collar didn't stand on its own. That's a bummer.

Greg is one of the owners of NMWA and a frequent contributor to this thread. In fact I’ve seen you interact with him on here.

If you don’t want people’s opinions on your jackets, why do you post here?

Maybe the black is different but I’ve heard a few times that the brown one doesn’t.
