why does it suck? unless you are going to be judged by leather artisans, that shit looks good
+1 RO shit leather will look cooler than mall trash so what does it matter in the scope of things. I wouldn't get too caught up in chasing the quality dragon too much. Just get it if you like it.

While I agree...kunk is kind of being a fanboy cuz no one wants to drop 3k on some cheap leather regardless of the brand

Rick Owens "Dust" is a grey-ish color.

What are people's general thoughts on grey leather jackets?

I'm thinking of getting the Stooges jacket, but not sure if I should go for dust or classic black.

"Dust" varies from season to season and it can look different depending on the lighting. It can be brown in spring and then grey in fall and then cream/milk color the next spring. Then there is "DNA Dust" color which adds more to the confusion. I don't think I've seen a "dust" colorway that is truly grey like Julius' grey.

Love gray leathers. The color on my Julius moto is fantastic. Haven't handled a "dust" rick leather, but I personally prefer a true gray as opposed to one with dirty/brownish gray hues. For stooges I would go with black.

The Score jacket is a translation of an original jacket made here in Toronto. I own 4 similar jackets made by a now defunct company called score...the curved zip was a trademark in their design. I basically tried to imagine the first version of this jacket made by score when they opened in the 1930s. That jacket did not exist of course. So I took the 1940s version and tweeked it a bit...tightened up the fit and added ball and chain zippers. Looking at that side zip design definitely makes the jacket unwearable unzipped. I know the jacket was likely used as a racing shirt...simple cotton liner and too tight to wear with anything underneath and of course that pesky size zip. Also it would appear the side zip protects the wearer from direct wind...making the jacket a little more windproof. It is really really cool.....
