Maybe they felt it didn't have enough zippers so they added one more, even if it is non-functional.

lol, that could be made functional (which was my initial thought upon seeing it, I thought it was on purpose) - you have to remove the extra side of the zipper, but before that you gotta remove the top clip and pull off both zipper slides as well. Then you'd have a twin-track DR jacket, that you can wear looser or tighter.
THe jacket itself is heinous though.

Balmain leathers from a couple years ago were awesome, actually. Not $6,000 awesome, which is what they cost when I saw them, but yeah.
