some of the earliest production leather jackets have had offset zippers originally jackets were based on doublebreasted military jackets so the zipper was set to one side in many cases but to be fair zippers were only in serious use since the late 1920s as they were only functional at that point

I think there's only one logical solution to this beef with socal: Drew makes a 5-zip repro in cracked burnt sienna calf with zippers taken from MMM 5 zips no less than 10 years old. Will be sold alternately for $200 and $2000, depending on what argument socal is making (which is a suitable replacement for regular market conditions).

I've seen RiRi zips in Willow Smith's "Whip My Hair" video (0). Judging by how shiny they are and how much hair whipping their were able to withstand, your price is 58% justifiable, and the resale will reach at least $Texas within 13 years.

DAMMIT. All this MMM 5 zip talk has me jonesing for a calf one to downright mess up. Oh of course I want a size 44 in black calf, which is fucking impossible to find. Drew, if you want to make a 5 zip sample just for shits and giggles, I'll fund it right now [IMG]

I don't think Julius will look right if the dude's bigger than a size 2. Then again, I've never seen fitpics of a 3+ wearing Julius. :|
