Yes. If you are someone who works the abdominals, you have quite the warning not to for the first few days. The muscle there is clearly traumatized for the first several days, it threw off my entire core and can mess with up right stability. As it heals it regresses into tightness, then nothing but numbness and swelling. Thanks for the well wishes and I'm happy to hear you got through it successfully. Does the swelling and numbness really need an entire year or more to progressively subside?

Wtf is going on? :puzzled:
Giving a demonstration and explanation my opinion of why regular fits are the way to go for most guys and why athletic ones sure as hell have no business wearing slim fit leather outerwear

Feel better soon @Lem87

I like the first jacket on you, but with heavier leathers I’ve found that you have to wear them in for them to get comfy. The FCL is definitely slim, so I’m sizing up for layering and comfort. The leather is 1.8mm, which is not the thickest but it does require a little break-in time.

Yeah sorry about that. It was done to make a point about Jacket fits.I was using my body type as an example. Urban Composition, I appreciate the well wishes, and to be honest, the cut you are going for is actually an exception. That double breasted (DR inspired?) style is one that works for most body types in a variety of fits because of its top heavy cut, favoring almost purely upper torso and shoulder proportions to trim the look of the waistline. It takes its basic design from military dress uniforms used for the passed 400 years just like the pea coat does which is why it works so well.

@UrbanComposition - The Leon looks great on you. I have one in a 42, Im 5'11" 175 if that helps.

On me I feel it felt great unzipped, though I found that looking from a side-profile that the back billows out a bit,

Thought about getting a size up, but the jacket fits great everywhere else.

What are your thoughts on the IronHeart ones? I've had my eyes on that cafe racer they stock..

+1. My Leon is a 40. Fits perfect with a thin layer, I would need a 42 if I wanted to wear anything bulkier underneath (I don’t).

Is it just like sized down 1-2 or would a 44 end up being too long in the body and sleeves?

I really like the IH cafe racer. If I didn’t already have a 5-zip I’d consider it.

Is that something you've been told about your incision? I suppose it would vary, but that sounds pessimistic. Maybe your doc is concerned about you getting back into feeding your gym addiction too soon, and he's trying to get you to dial down your expectations! My incision hardly bothered me at all, but maybe that's because my focus was on two secondary tumours in my abdomen, which required heavy duty chemo and major surgery.

How do you feel about spending money on non-essential goods during the Covid-19 crisis?

  • I don't want to spend money at a time of economic uncertainty, even if I could afford it.

  • I feel compelled to spend to help small businesses that are struggling.

  • I reduced my budget for non-essential goods and I'm not spending at the moment.

  • Not much has changed for me and I'm still buying stuff I can't afford.
