FWIW, I'm more of a CR/BR or HB kinda guy vs. the DR, but that's just me. That said, the FCL DR's are appealing and can be seen in person at SE SF. The JG DR's at NMWA also caught my eye.

The thing is, you need 11 or more lancer jackets to speak on the style authoritatively. However, you only need 6 double riders because each rider counts individually.

You'll have to show it zipped. Lancers are meant to worn closed to provide maximum protection against enemy lance, sword, and arrow strikes.
