I agree Electric blue pops too much, I remember I was after a backlash in midnight blue and even that I wondered if it would be too much. A lot of my consideration into clothing is how I would wear it every day, I don’t have many items that just hang because I do this. Caveat is I don’t have items for special occasions at times.

I'm a very very tacky/loud man

Zam you are killing me here, the jacket looks cool but those pants make it look like dude is in an adidas track suit.

The pants are from a set of vintage linens I brought from JA. don't know how old they are but they are at least 46 years old. They look very good in person, a nice heavy twill like weave. I don't know about the adidas reference, pictures and in person are not the same things. which is why now whenever possible we are encouraging people to come to the store

We have a lot of customers, we have always done black Jackets, and black will always be a significant aspect of the color palette in our work, but its time to move forward, to try new things. To offer new things to our customers. especially when many have been requesting it
This season there is a lot of color, on both clothing and accessories, but color that compliments and work well with the palette we have always used

this is a big part of the reason we redesigned the jacket completely, and we are either phasing out or completely redesigning a lot of signature offerings from our company

Pulled out my leathers yesterday and my beloved James grose DR was covered in mold. I plan to clean it off today with alcohol, vinegar, and water - but how can I be sure mold isn’t under the lining and inside the seams? Is there some way I can kill it? Throw it in a freezer? Microwave it?

Rave FabriCare in Arizona can prob take care of it. I've sent difficult-to-clean leather jobs to them before. They take mail-ins if you're not local, but maybe get a rough estimate on the bill. It may be a little expensive.

FWIW, mold can be very difficult to get out of clothes.

I wiped that sucker down with vinegar, alcohol, and water and reconditioned it. My neighbor is a leather worker and says it should be fine. He recommends putting my jackets in direct sunlight once every few months for a few hours since UV kills spores. He also says humidity below 65% keeps them from growing. I think I’m going to pick up a dehumidifier

We have really humid summers here, and a couple years ago some of my shoes got mold on the soles I cleaned them with vinegar and water and left them in the sun for a couple days and they were fine.

Since then, I started using something like some kind of moisture-trapping crystal packets every summer in my clothes and shoe closet, and I haven't had any mold problems. Kind of similar to this.

Similar to everyone's favorite candy - Silca Gel - DO NOT EAT.

Ugh, you just reminded me to check inside my grill again, it's been a while.

I'm not sure if this applies to leather as well, but I've found if I just do a quick burn and heat it to ~600F for 30 min or so, it kills the mold pretty well.

The ones I use (not the one I linked) generally last around 3-4 months - enough to get me through the summer
