Zara came out with some gems. A belstaff looking bomber, a belstaff panther like jacket. Valstar clone. SLP lambskin double rider. Beige suede trucker and a generic looking grey suede. Fairly impressive in person. All of them look too long in the body for the styles, imo.
For the prices they offered tbh I had to check them out in person. They are at best just 40 dollars more than the faux leather versions of the same stuff which made me suspicious if they are made of a certain standard. When I tried them they seemed okay to slightly Long for me. They are however a little thin but it’s great as a layering piece and potentially something I might subconsciously grab more often than I would assume. It’s also a fall collection release so I’m possibly anticipating heavier leathers in the months moving up to winter. Zara has been experimenting with leather for a while but I think this is the best yet. It used to be an afterthought for them or at best a dumping ground for too trendy leather designs from Massimo Dutti

I would give the suede trucker a once over. I remember I was at a Zara recently with my GF and tried on a leather jacket and the fit was surprisingly nice! Leather quality was not great but not horrible.

@FrankCowperwood has good things to say about Simmons Bilt.

I keep coming back to the jacket Standard & Strange did with them.

As others have pointed out, I can probably get the same jacket cheaper and with light MTM direct from SB. I feel like it's a jacket I would wear a lot...looks easy to throw on and SB quality is, per Frank, more than sufficient.

The S&S guy looks great in that jacket. I like his style over all.

@Bing75 I think Simmons Bilt is a good bet for you. I bought a D1 shearling from the outlet section of their site and, while I don't have anything to compare it to really, I've been pleased with it. They are easy to work with for MTO, the construction is good, and the prices reasonable for the product I think.

And I like the ANJ-4 as a shearling choice! That's definitely something I could own some day. Aero's looks pretty nice too, though a little more expensive.

Has anyone heard of or have a jacket from Pedrojas/PDcollection? I came across his jackets on etsy and they really look fantastic with a ton of different styles. I guess they used to sell on ebay and have a store in LA now, I found their profile which has almost 5000 positive feedback and lots of positive things to say about the jackets, but I've never seen them anywhere else. Their IG page (@pdcollection) and website has a lot of detailed/modeled pictures. The owner is going to send me some leather samples this week so I can check out the quality. Some of my favorites:

A couple of them are pretty nice

That could pass for a Balenciaga x Vanson collab these days.
