@patrick_b that looks great. Leather does look like it would be similar to Vicenza. Color's really rich. Darker in these photos than I recall it looking in the previous photos you posted.

I just picked up a RL Purple Label Mitchell Hooded leather jacket. I have a half dozen Purple Label shirts which I quite like and a cashmere Purple Label sweater that kicks much ass but had never really considered getting a PL jacket.

The design of this jacket makes me think strongly that had Black Label not folded, this jacket would most likely be a part. To me anyway, it does not strike me as a Purple Label design. Then again, this year PL I think is only offering one leather jacket and is selling one made of foil that is finished off in polyester with a twist of nylon with the same $3495 MSRP that the jacket I just ordered sold for. For those unaware, the name of the afoilmentioned coat (sorry, had to) is the Foil Marsh.

I really am quite curious to see the overall build quality. The jacket being fully lined in a "cotton jersey" material reinforces my thoughts
that this jacket really might be a tricked out hoody. It also is somewhat similar to a Band of Outsiders leather anorak that I own, but thankfully the RLPL uses dark hardware as opposed to the fairly bright hardware in the BoO.

Curious to get everyones input as while I have some pretty decent quality leather jackets, most of my jacket affliction is directed towards high end outdoor wear. I also question the utility of a hood on a leather jacket.

^^worn that way, it works. Keep the rest of the clothes in the background and let the leather hoodie do the shouting...i think it would look good with a gray cashmere scarf, also.

    Thanks @FrankCowperwood

Sleeve creases have really popped in the few weeks I’ve worn it.

Looking at getting a bike. Are there any “SF approved” armoured models anyone can think of? I can only see the Vanson comet.

^ Johnson Leathers can make pretty much anything you want. Not too expensive either.

Welp, here’s the RO shearling. A different model — I actually like it better.
