I really really want this but it's so much goddamn money

I think I have come to realize what it is I don't like about ToJ... they never use brass/copper hardware and it looks just so BAMF on black. I really dug that one green one I saw though.

Have you seen it in person? The schott for barneys jackets I've seen have all been pretty boxy, and that horsehide is like wearing plywood over your body.

Any thoughts on this MMM 5-zip in brown leather? I'm usually not a fan of distressed stuff, but I think this looks pretty cool. I'm thinking of picking it up this weekend. Can anyone shed some light on the differences between the MMM Line 10 and the MMM Line 14 leather 5-zip jackets? I've seen both and they look identical, so I'm curious as to what the differences are. Bob99, I own that jacket and it is really pretty awesome if the cut works for you. The distressing just makes it look a bit lived in but it's very versatile. It fits about a size small, imo.

I could. I could also sell HJ's on the street outside of papa john's. I don't, because I have goals.

Odyn Vovk made this dark burgundy (almost black) leather overshirt gilt was selling for a song, I'm still carrying a torch for it if anyone sees it around.

some of them look super nice. I wouldn't know, since I've never rubbed my sweat little palms all over them - but that wrinkled, white goatskin thing from his first collection looking like the remnants of an albino circumcision.

Sigh...on the lookout for a new leather jacket in the near future...I'm a big 46, if anyone has any suggestions. Particularly interested in fencing leathers or something like the mmm 5 zip... I'm so sad things turned out this way for my grail... sigh.....

edit: julius size 2 fencing fit me pretty much perfectly. Perfect length, perfect fit. So if anything is in a similar size/vein, I'd be much obliged
