Hi,
Apologies if this isn't the right forum - please move it if it isn't.
I recently bought a leather jacket, and the shop that I bought it from placed the sizing sticker on the leather (in between the button holes, to be exact). So me (obviously not thinking at the moment) didn't take my time with it and just pulled back kind of fast. So I pealed it back and only to realize that there is now a mark where the sticker was. The problem is this: I'm not sure whether the leather peeled off or if it's the sticky remnant from the sizing sticker that has caused this mark.
So these are my questions:
1.) How can I figure out which of the two it is: Peel or Mark?
I mean is it possible that a sizing sticker could have peeled the skin of the leather? Even if it wasn't attached that tight? If so, is there a way to repair this?
2.) If it is just a mark, how do I go about cleaning it? Is there a good leather cleaner you guys could recommend? Or would soap and water do? It's an expensive jacket, so I don't want to f**k it up.
Would greatly appreciate any help you guys can send this way.
