Hi, Just wondering what trends people have seen for leather jackets this year. I'm looking to buy something, preferably in the sub-$500 range, like a casual motorcycle jacket. Thanks.

If you want something trendy look no further than Rick Owens or forum memer socal2nyc for inspiration. Of course you'll need to look elsewhere next season because by then they'll be put of style.

^lulz. although for "timeless" the moto or exploder high collar or jacket collared ones are probably your best bet. that high-collar from 2 seasons ago (now the "geo" jacket) will look like a relic in 5 years.

I dunno, his riders and moto collars are pretty wearable on the long term. The one I recently got in milk (white) maybe not so much.

Depending on where you live, your local thrift/vintage clothing store may have what you're looking for. I picked up an amazing horsehide cafe racer used and sent it to Johnson Leathers in San Francisco to get a new liner with pockets for removable crash armor.
