Hey Everyone!

I"m new to this forum....actually I'm new to forums completely....so don"t eat me.

I, like many of you, am a thrifter/urban picker....blah blah whatever... Anyway, I've done this for years on my own, but there's only so much you can do yourself... I think having a resource like this, rich with knowledge of clothing, fashion and the like, would help me immensely. So I figured I would give it a shot...

My most recent query: Today while thrifting I came upon a fantastic leather jacket. Unfortunately, I can't find very much about it online.

Here's what I know: It's made by La Matta, in Italy. It's incredibly soft Lambskin. Black in color, 52 regular in size. The model looks to be somewhere in between a "bomber" and a "cafe racer" style. The length of my research has produced the fact that La Matta has manufactured leather for Armani and other top shelf designer companies and is rare in the US.

What I don't know: What do I REALLY have here.. (a KILLER find, or a loss)? Is this vintage? Circa? What is the jacket worth (ballpark)? How rare? What is the cut actually called??

You get the idea...

Thank you in advance, I appreciate any advice. You're the experts : )

Thanks everyone!

-Nick
