Thank you -- that looks nice. I like the idea for closure -- snaps are painful to use on a softsided case.

vintage raybans sort of came in nice soft leather cases with some plastic for the nose pad to keep them in place. i'd have those copied but unsure how one can get them custom.

I've been thinking about designing one soon, but the tricky part is having a particularly soft lining. Even the raw leather of the KS or Tanner models could scratch certain mirror finishes. Hell, I'm not even supposed to use just a lens cloth on my prescription Persols unless I have washed them with warm water and dish soap first.
