Leather conditioner for Tustings

I recently acquired a previously loved Tustings bag which has some minor scuffs and scratches I’d like to address. Normally I’d use Pecards or Lexol, but since this bag is going to be rubbing against my clothing I’d like something that isn’t going to be messy.
My understanding is that Tustings uses a special wax-treatment for their leather, so I’m not sure if this affects what to use. Thanks for your advice!
