I have know David Menkes for about 12 years now. He makes amazing leather clothing. This fall he will be making me an off white leather shirt with a University oxford cloth print. A leather OCBD I think the trads might be appalled.
He makes pants, Jackets and complete suits from leather. why am I mentioning him? He is a talented tailor and his buisness is not what it used to be. Way back in time before Giuliani There was a large Leather fetish scene in NYC. Over the years it has withered away.
He has more time on his hands then he would like. He can even fix your leather pants that have stretched out of shape.

Now his site is not pornographic, just skewed towards his old customer base.

This reminds me of Mr.Pearl, the corset-maker who used to live in New York but now apparently in Paris, making corsets for all the couturiers.
