I'm looking for a thinner (dress trousers sized) high-grade leather belt strap in a walnut brown colour, preferably on the slender side. I've got a beautiful '50s Dansk modern metal and hardwood window paned buckle that would look zero cool with a slim tailored prince of wales suit or brown dogtooth pattern trews, and I'd like to find an equally nice and similarly modernist styled belt strap to pair it with. I'm not looking for anything big, thick or clunky, nor with side stitchings or any kind of elaboration, but a really lovely textured aged leather in a dark walnut that's thin and mid century mod looking. If anyone could help point me in the direction of a good resource online or mto, it'd be really appreciated!

Cheers!

Thanks, but I'm looking for just a leather strap.

An aged full grain leather would be best. The buckle is a thin rectangular dark oakwood with an architectural paned frame. It's quite a rare Danish modern piece, and I'd like to find a thin leather strap that would really do it justice. Is there anyone that does MTO with vintage leathers or specialty boutiques for men's belts?

Narragansett Leathers does just straps. Not really aged leather though. I have both a 1 inch and a 1 and 1/4 inch belt from them. Good quality.

Trafalgar makes a 1" cortina or glove strap. It's like 60 dollars and completely lovely.

To bump this thread, I'm on the prowl for something specific...a 7/8" burgundy strap. I have a Brooks Brothers buckle from 2002 that is only 7/8 inch wide. I am having a heckuva time finding either this size or a strap in burgundy. If anyone has any seller/website ideas I'd appreciate it.

We make quite a lot of completely custom stuff including replacement straps custom fitted to buckles - happy to help if I can, by all means drop me a PM
