Give Lee Gold Label 101b or the 101z a try, going right now for $90 on the Lee website, they are raw and selvage (if you sign up for email updates, can get extra 20% off).

Remember to size down at least 1 for the 101b, preferably 2 if you like it a little snug.

I tend to steer away from KC promo's, but I've been really happy with these, coated Italian denim, only 8 days wear and they're fading really well. Should be around $105-$110 at Urban and Tobi. I sized down 2 to a 30" waist.

Those look dope, although I don't know if I'd recommend coated jawnz to someone new to denim...

Do coated jeans require any special care or treatment?

Keep them as dry as possible, when they get wet the coating can come off leaving them dull in spots. Dry clean, don't wash.
