A far cry from the sanitized and packaged events we see today. Imagine practicing on the open road as pedestrians, bicycles, scooters, motorcycles, cars, and trucks go about their business on the same tarmac!

Good catch.

Balls is right. Not like these cars were slow, or tracks not dangerous. Those helmets did nothing for safety.
