Hey everyone!

Since i found nothing about this brand in the forums, I decided to introduce it myself.
This might be interesting for those who live in Switzerland or spend some time in Zürich.

My first made-to-measure shoes by Le Majordome have arrived today. The brand is still young but the concept is promising: the ideal fit is determined by digital foot scan and sample shoes, after that you can choose shoe model, leather, lining and sole type. Within 8-10 weeks the goodyear-welted shoes then are being crafted in a experienced manufacture.
My chosen model is a classic lace-up boot in dark calf leather, lined with cowhide and equipped with a Vibram sole. Out-of-the-box they make a impeccable impression - the leather has a pleasantly smooth surface feel, the dark brown color has a lot of depth, the build quality is strong and flawless, and the sole looks sturdy.
The shoes came along in cloth bags, with additional laces and a cleaning cloth - everything packed in a unpretentious cardboard box.
The shoes receive a basic treatment with shoe pomade and palm wax creme before the first wearing. Afterwards, the breaking-in begins and it will be seen whether the boots hold their promise. Of which more in a later review.
