Yeah I would maybe size down. Looks a bit wide over the chest, but maybe it’s different when closed. Is it much oversized? I’m going for the same one, usually 50 in DBF jackets. Still it’s supposed to be oversized.

Does the seam that runs down the sleeve line up with the seam down the side of the shirt at the underarm (as if it’s one continuous seam) or is there an offset between them at the sleeve joint?
