Upon first seeing my new pecora nera knit, I was certain that I had mis-sized and it was too small. But, I tried it on anyway, only to find that it stretches and settles in just the right way for a perfect fit. There must be a little magic knitted into this sweater.

Also joining team Pecora Nera. In my case, I took @hpreston's advice and sized up (XL here) I’m in between sizes for a lot of brands, and for me, I think thicker spongier knits look better a bit bigger. This is a bit on the long side for a pullover, but it seems to work. First picture over an Eidos Lupo and roomy chinos, the second over jeans.

@Easily Amused looks better folded there IMO; still looks like a touch too much drape in the chest and more in the true waist (unflattering IMO ). My guess is a L would look a bit better IMHO

I think a lot of people see the measurements and may think it'll fit too slim but there is definitely some magic knitted here that'lls make it look just right TTS-ish

Thanks henriik, I appreciate the input and I see what you're saying, especially about drape in the waist. It doesn't bother though. And if I gain weight, at least this sweater will accommodate that (but I hope I don't!).

That said, if I purchase the darker brown Pecora Nera knit, I may take your advice and try TTS.

Where are folks buying the Pecora Nera knit sweater? From US stores that carry DBF or directly from DBG online? I'm a Canadian and sadly no one carries DBF.

thanks - Faisal

I wouldn’t size down. The first picture is perfect in my opinion. And I like the unfolded better?

I bought my brown (not taupe) Pecora Nera from Division Road (US).

I'm all for folded or even tucked in!
