If you're under 5'5" with a suit size of 36S, would a size 44 Grandad coat be the best option?

Thinking about getting the non-camel version.
Gonna link you to my post a few weeks back for reference. I'm also 36S, but 5'7" with long limbs and I took a 46. 44 might work out well for you.

I'm 5' 7" without shoes, 5' 8" with dress shoes, 36S in tailoring. I got a 46 in the navy GD; length seems a little bit on the longer/more dramatic side but still not too exaggerated in my opinion. Angles can throw things off.

The belt idea is a pretty decent one actually, I kinda wish the belt were longer. But it's sooo cozy in the winter.

@Ulrich DBF Hello! For the Pecora Nera crewneck, is the sweater on your website the same as the ones on East Dane and No Man Walks Alone? The neck seemed to be a bit tighter in the product pics on the latter two so I wanted to check in before placing a preorder. Thanks!

My eyes have similarly been playing tricks with me.

This is just such a beautiful jacket. Seems to be from aw17? Anyone knows about the sizing back then. Jacket is 52, I’m usually 50 but has been 48 in the relaxed jackets from DBF last seasons. Seller says the shoulders are 49 cm and back 73 cm. I am also wondering about the structured shoulders, how padded are they really? Anyone knows? I have actually been staring at this jacket for half a year now. If somebody buys it would actually be a relief! 😅

Sorry for tagging you all but can any of you tell me if the patterns/sizing has changed throughout the years on the core products? Essential shirts, one pleat trousers, relaxed drawstring trousers etc

I want to buy the tropical wool one pleats but many years ago I had the brushed cotton pair in putty and had to size up to a 52 and I’m just wondering if the same sizing applies. I also found the same for the drawstring trousers.
And is that navy wool being made in the 2 pleats trousers?
I’m also curious if the shearling moleskin vest is being produced seeing as the padded jacket isn’t.

Thanks

Hello! Yes it's exactly the same, this is the only sweater in Pecora Nera of the collection :)

Hello, the sizing has changed through the years for only a few centimeters but not for all categories, it depends on the products. The majority of our pieces have not changed. Regarding your request, I can assure you that our one pleat trousers haven't changed. You can get our One pleat trousers - Wool twill - Navy size 52 without any doubts.

It comes only in one pleated version this season.

Concerning the shearling moleskin vest, due to the sanitary context, we had to cancel some references, and sadly, our shearling moleskin vest is one of them.

Best, Nicolas
