The photos of the illustrious Laura Bush-David Lauren nupitals finally appeared in the "exclusive" 12/2011 Vogue. So what does everything think of David's outfit? I'd say very 19th century - complete with pronounced watch fob, to boot - for starters. Since future Daddy-in-Law Ralph designed the lady's gown, reputed to have taken "over 3,000 hours" to create, I'm assuming he might have designed son's outfit as well.

The event was still private enough there don't seem to be any photos around of most of the wedding guests, let alone the main wedding party such as Ralph and Ricki. I'd really like to see more of the clothes, in general.

I think both outfits are fabulous; they happen to be a very attractive couple, which only adds to the glory of the scene. I read her gown took "over 3,000 hours" to create. Wonder who created his, what the groomsmen wore, etc., etc.

Sheep didnt you wear a dress like that when you got married?

I was nude, technically.

They look like they were married 100 years ago, which is cool if you have some kind of "River Runs Through It" fetish. Which is totally understandable, as young Pitt was quite a looker. No ****.

I like the old fashion shirts with only the collar corner turned down, what is the name for that collar type?

It looks like a Ralph Lauren ad. He is a handsome guy and she is stunning in that dress.

The cowboy boots, the heavy watch chain and David's belt buckle are a bit much of a branded fashion statement for a wedding outfit IMHO. But when David takes over as the figurehead in the RL empire, these overly styled fashion statement pics will be repeated over and over, in the same way as Ralph's styled pics from his early years.

But, hey, it's their wedding, so let them wear whatever they want.

PS- I bet he is the only one wearing heels in the photo :)

Her name is actually now Lauren Bush Lauren--Lauren Lauren for short.

She's beautiful (and pedigreed: Princeton, Ivy Club), but as far as I remember he's much shorter than her. Can you photoshop height?

How do you prefer trousers to be finished?

 • Plain hem

 • Cuffed (1.5 inches or less)

 • Cuffed (more than 1.5 inches)

 • No preference, as long as the proportions work
