I'm a freshman in college this year and for me that mean figuring out a laundry schedule. I have about two weeks of clothes so I figured that a bi-monthly schedule would probably work. My question is this:
I noticed that a lot of people don't wash their jeans for a WHILE after they buy them. Realistically, how many times can you wear jeans / a shirt before it's time to wash it? Say I had a polo shirt that I wore an undershirt with and it didn't get dirty or anything. Is it a feau pax to wear that shirt again before washing it, or does that rule only apply to jeans?
I'm really not trying to be lazy, but I just want to maximize the life of my clothes and, of course, have them be fresh and clean. Thanks!
