To get that patina they are worn by drillers on oil rigs in the Black Sea... the resulting bespoke stink is, by some, a preferred additional benefit.

They aren't good. The greasy look destroys the very being of the shoe.

I won't necessarily call splotchy oil stains antiquing.

Yes, they look silly. But I think you guys are just kidding yourselves when you say any antiquing looks good.
