I found this book in my grandparents house. It did not seem interesting at all so I figured that I would bore you all as much as I was bored by it. I photographed about 2/3 of the pages. There were no hotties in the ladies section.

Thanks - did you photograph them using a flash? Can you try again without (or perhaps scan them)?

The flash did kind of fade them but there really is not much more to see.

My Dad used to tell me that people dressed better in his day ( the 1940s ).

He was right.

The pictures are really stylish.

Note that the ubiquitous slim pants ( at least here on SF ) weren't a big deal back then but to my eye everything else looks great like the peak lapels and the waist suppression.

It looks like they all have huge shoulders. I do like the overcoat in picture 5.

this is interested, a few months ago my english grandfather passed, and i was looking through some of the photos from him in his 20's, and damn they really were put together well in those days.

Everything was very well tailored, if you find one person in 200 that are looking like that these days its a surprise.
