I'll let other be the judge but I hope so...

C&J Handgrades were £212.50 inc p&p from Pediwear
Trickers were also Pediwear with only a 10% discount on advertised prices
AS were from Suitstoboot (wholecut was £160 and the semi brogue £130 inc. p&p)

If others know of better deals (not that I think these are unbeatable by any means) please share the knowledge!

I think I will order some more Trickers, they really are an excellent shoe for the money.

As aportnoy said, Belgrave - This minimal style semi brogue is a real fav of mine. I have a pair of vintage Trickers identicle in both style & colour. I just love 'em

Yes indeed... 'antique chestnut' if I remember correctly. IIRC the C&J catalogue has the Belgrave in chestnut, black (calf) or a brown suede.

Very nice. How to the Sargents fit? Did you take the same size in the Sargents as teh C&J? I tried the Sargents derby from Pediwear, but I found the sizing too small, so I had to return them.

Agreed. The C&J's are on elongated lasts. AFAIK Sargent doesn't offer a comparable last and therefore the fitting will not be so accommodating in length. Sargent's are however quite generous on width and I find them a very good & comfortable fit.

As it happens, I do take the same size in both the C&J 337's & Sargent's. Although the C&Js are really a little too long, the extra width you get as a consequence is needed.
