Hello!

I just tried the promo code to give your product a first time try, but it's saying it's invalid. On the site, it says it's only for non-shirts, but here, you say it's for all items...

Hi,

Thank you for you interest in our products, i guess the Promo offer is a little confusing. We are offering 20% sitewide excluding shirts, you can add any two shirts in your cart (MTM/MTO) and you will get 50% on the second shirt, Both promos cant be combined together.

Please let me know if you need help with anything.

Exquisite details of Hand set sleeve panels with incredible stitch precision on the seams

View attachment 1851570

Out of curiosity, what other things do you offer beyond sleeves and collar for handwork? And how do you choose the handwork in ordering? Is handwork available for custom shirts or only on specific items?

Hi,

Unfortunately we haven't offered Full / Semi Handmade shirt on our website yet and it is something offered instore only. We do plan to offer these online somewhere around early next year and starting price would be $350 CAD. To answer your question, we have three different categories where hand details are offered;

1. Custom Shirts: You can request monogram to be done by hand & button stitching for the cuffs can be hand done e.g crowfoot stitch - other than that custom shirts offered online don't include hand details

2. Semi Hand made shirts: These shirts are not offered online as they are made with the assistance of hand & machine stitching combined. For example, we do sleeve panel setting by hand, Hand turned Collar/Cuffs joined by hand for those visible details.

3. Full Hand made Shirt: This is where things get interesting as it takes 2 days to finish one shirt. The complete shirt making process is Hand done starting from the Fabric cutting to assembling the pattern and finishing the stitching by hand. The collars & Cuffs are hand turned and attached with other panels, reinforced side gussets are hand done, bottom hem is hand rolled for finishing, button shank is done by hands even the finishing of the button hole is done by hands. You can request shirring on the shoulders or the back yoke.

We are planning to get some OTR hand made shirts so everyone can experience the quality of the hand details. If you are interested send us a DM and we can work something out for you 😉

Thanks

Thanks for the reply. Good to know that it wasn't just that I was confused by the site. Definitely interested.

Personally I think that the more important aspects of handwork on a shirt are the shoulders, and collar, since they do actually provide benefits for the fit of the shirt; other things like button holes or gussets are, more a nice to have. It might make most sense to offer the options for hand work based on function / luxury in your semi-hand made offerings.

Two other questions -- I noticed you do offer some one piece collars, but I don't see those available on the custom shirts collar options -- and second, what the mills for the fabrics in general? I only see technical descriptions for the fabrics (weight or weave).

Thank you for your reply, Please see my answers as below:

1. Yes we do make one piece collar but its not listed on the custom shirt portal because it cant made in all offered fabrics. You can place an order and request in comment section for a one piece collar and we will assist you if we can proceed with that collar. Many of our Friends from SF will acknowledge that they had tried the one piece MTO shirt first and then requested the collar to be offered in MTM section which we had honored. It takes more time & effort to craft a one piece collar & we don't charge any extra so its worth giving a shot I guess.

2. I know we haven't listed the Fabric brands because as you might know our factory is situated in India and most of our fabric development is done through factories that manufacture for renowned brands such as Thomas Mason, Tessitura Monti & Canclini to name a few. All of the other Fabrics that we don't stock & have to order cut length are mostly branded Italian & English Fabrics.

We will definitely add fabric mills to make it a little more easier to browse through our fabric collections.

Thanks

Thank you for clarifying, our cuff circumference is some what similar to what you had quoted (For Collar:15 / Cuff: 8.5") because its in RTW offering. You can completely customize your shirt style/measurements in Custom shirt section. You can even request to have variable watch allowance between your wrist measurements when customizing your shirt. If you scroll down any shirt design, you will see "DESIGN THIS SHIRT" button which lets you customize the same fabric design. Hope this makes sense.

When you say 8.5", how are you measuring that? Edge of button hole straight across to the button? Some places use the edge to edge of the cuff. Trying to understand which you use. Thanks!

Hi, for Ready to wear shirt, cuffs are measured starting from centre of button to the centre of button hole as shown in picture below:

Thank you, @larimars. And how much allowance is built in for shrinkage? Is a 15" collar actually closer to 15.5" to allow for shrinkage?

Yes you have stated right, a 15 inch collar is incorporated with 1/2" shrinkage margin which makes it 15 1/2" in actual measurement before washing.

Hello Folks,

We took some time to experiment with a Three Roll two button jacket in this rustic brown woolen VBC fabric. This jacket turned out exceptionally beautiful with this slightly wider notch lapel. The surgeon cuffs and horn buttons add a touch of elegance, while the half canvas construction ensures a durable and long-lasting wear.

We are offering Free Full canvas upgrade and Functional cuffs options for limited time.
