I will be working for a management consulting firm and I will need a laptop case upgrade. Is there any brand or specific piece you recommend? I would prefer it in black, kind of slim, checkpoint friendly, modern, and small enough to accommodate a 14 inch laptop. I'm looking to spend around $100, but will spend much more if someone with experience convinces me that the extra money is worth it.

I've been using he the search bar but I couldn't find anything similar, except for that porn thread. Thank you in advance.

$100 is a little low for something quality.

What is "checkpoint friendly"?

Should I be looking more on the $250-$300 range? Is it worth it because of better style, greatly improved durability, or both? I've seen the slimmer the cases are, the cheaper they go. I think a slim bag to carry basics (laptop, cables, charger, etc) and some papers is well suited for someone with my job, which involves travelling weekly. Plus, I find it more appealing for someone young like myself.

By checkpoint friendly I mean the ones that unfold and leave the laptop section alone. This means you don't have to take your laptop out when going though x-rays.
