I need your advice. I'm not terribly interested buying this suit but the lapels on this intrigue me. Are they too wide?

I'd say they're not, but I'm a bit more partial to a wider lapel than others here.

they strike me as being a bit wide, you might have to be a bit broad to swing it.

Now that you're here, you should stick around, Gorgekko's brother.

Yeah, I agree, it does look a bit dated. I was just a little interested because it would have been nice to add something different to the wardrobe...not a fan of Chaps though.

Oh, gorgekko would be mad if he knew I was using his account after his unceremonious departure.

I imagine 48L would qualify as 'a bit broad.' Would still look quite dated, like you should be off inventing new steel alloys, or something.

How do you feel about spending money on non-essential goods during the Covid-19 crisis?

  • I don't want to spend money at a time of economic uncertainty, even if I could afford it.

  • I feel compelled to spend to help small businesses that are struggling.

  • I reduced my budget for non-essential goods and I'm not spending at the moment.

  • Not much has changed for me and I'm still buying stuff I can't afford.
